APPROPRIATE
FIGO. D.
All helmets come with suspension pre-installed in the factory configuration. The suspension can be adjusted to ensure a proper and secure fit to your head for maximum protection. Follow the steps below:
PASO 1: Turn the size adjustment knob 9 counterclockwise to loosen the setting. Place the back pillow at the back of the head, closest to the neck. Hang bandana knots or ponytails over the back of your neck 10 .
PASO 2: Tighten by turning the size adjustment knob 9 clockwise until the helmet is snug and snug. Move your head up, down and side to side smoothly as you normally would and make sure the helmet stays on. Make sure the helmet is not tilted forward or backward, but is resting on your head.
DEFINITIONS
FIGO. Y
If the helmet does not fit correctly in the factory settings, you can further adjust the fit.
PASO 1: Release bracket by rotating bracket bracket 16 approximately 90 degrees to release bracket key 17 from bracket key slots.
PASO 2: Determine which slot 18 you want to reconnect to. Using the deeper support slots in the helmet will move it higher on the head and vice versa. Insert Bracket Key 17 and rotate Bracket 16 approximately 90 degrees to lock it in place. Always match left and right side adjustments to prevent the suspension from slanting.
PASO 3: Make sure the helmet fits correctly. Follow the steps in the FITTING section to ensure a proper fit. Make sure the accessories you plan to use fit and function properly, maintaining the helmet's ability to perform its function optimally. Consult a qualified security expert if you are unsure.
TO USE:The lengths of the suspension straps are fixed and cannot be adjusted. DO NOT try to change.
SUSPENSION REPLACEMENT
STEP 1:Place index finger under strap anchor and thumb over anchor groove 11 . Push up with index finger using enough force to release anchor from slot. Do this for all anchor slots (4 total). NOTE: DO NOT pull on the suspension straps to release the anchor. Doing so can permanently damage the belts, preventing them from working as intended.
PASO 2: Make height adjustments to the new suspension before installation.
PASO 3: Push each anchor down until it clicks and the anchor can no longer be pushed down. Do this for all 4 anchors. NOTE: DO NOT use sharp tools that could damage the anchors or pull the straps to secure them.
PASO 4: Check for proper installation by pushing up all 4 anchor pads. Anchors must remain fully engaged in their slots. Otherwise, repeat STEP 3.
STEP 5:Make sure the helmet fits correctly. Follow the steps in the FITTING section to ensure a proper fit. Also make sure that any accessories you plan to use fit and function properly, maintaining the helmet's ability to function optimally.

HARD HELM CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Clean the hull and suspension with water and mild soap only. Rinse and dry. Clean the optional chin strap with a damp cloth only. Store in a cool place.
- Refer to the SUITE STRAP AND SUPERIOR COMFORT CUSHION section of the Operating Instructions (Opposite Side) for additional maintenance information.
INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT
Inspect the helmet, including suspension and frame, before and after each use:
- Inspect the helmet shell for cracks, breaks, discoloration, chalky appearance or any other damage, excessive wear or unusual condition. These conditions may indicate reduced impact or penetration resistance and the helmet should be replaced IMMEDIATELY.
- Suspension and optional chin strap should be checked for cracks, tears, damaged stitching or any other damage, excessive wear or unusual condition. If any of these conditions exist, the suspension and optional chin strap must be replaced IMMEDIATELY.
- Always use genuine Klein Tools replacement parts. This product works as a system and the use of unauthorized suspensions can reduce the protection you receive from this helmet.
USEFUL LIFE
OPTIONAL CHIN SUSPENSION AND STRAP: Must be replaced after a maximum of 12 months of use.
FULL HELMET: The entire helmet must be replaced after a maximum of 2 years of regular use or 5 years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first.
These are the MAXIMUM life guidelines. Regular inspection MUST be performed as detailed in the MAINTENANCE section above and may result in possible sooner replacement.
TO USE:This replacement schedule is a guideline that assumes normal helmet use and storage. If the helmet has been exposed to extreme temperatures, persistent sunlight or chemicals, it may need to be replaced in a shorter period of time.
