While some PS4 error codes can be fixed with a nifty trick or a little tweak to the menus, depending on the extent of the problem, you just have to be patient and wait for a hotfix to be released or for the network issues to resolve themselves. . So first make sure your router and internet connection are working properly. Erro PS4 SU-30746-0
"System software update failed."
This PS4 error code SU-30746-0 can appear when your PS4 console has failed to install the latest firmware update. Fortunately, PlayStation support has its own recommended steps you can take to fix this error code, especially if restarting your PS4 didn't fix the error code:
- Make sure your PS4 is connected to the Internet, preferably via a wired connection to your router with an Ethernet cable.
- Go to "Notifications" and delete all update files by pressing the "Options" button and selecting "Delete".
- Now go to "Settings" and select "System Software Update" to try installing the update again.
If that doesn't work, you need to manually update your PS4 using a USB drive and safe mode on your PS4. Before starting this method, make sure you have a FAT32 USB storage device with at least 500MB of free space and access to a PC or Mac. "System software update failed."
Interestingly, this PS4 error code is basically the same as SU-30746-0 and therefore can be fixed in the same way. You should refer to the instructions above to see how to fix this firmware update failed error code, but in short, you should try restarting the console, deleting all update files from the notification menu, or manually updating the PS4 with a USB drive.

"An error has occurred."
This error code could be a sign of a problem with your PS4's hardware, specifically a bad ribbon connection, and could have rendered your console unusable. If you're still able to use your PS4, try some simple steps to fix the problem first - restart your console, check all your connections, or check for system updates, for example. If that doesn't work, you may need to back up your data and reset your PS4 to factory settings.

"There was an error making the payment."

"System software encountered an error."
Your PS4 may have encountered a data corruption issue if you are seeing this error code. Here's what you can try to fix it:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the PS4 system software installed by going to Settings and selecting System Software Update. Your PS4 will restart.
- If you are unable to access settings, try using safe mode option 3 on your PS4 to update the system software.
- If that doesn't work, back up your save data to make sure you don't lose anything, go to 'Settings', then 'Startup' and select 'Initialize PS4'. Alternatively, you can use safe mode option 6.
- If you still receive this error code after following these steps, contact PlayStation Support as it is likely that your PS4 has a more serious issue.
PS4-Fehler NP-34957-8
"Server communication error."
This error code can appear when your PS4 is experiencing connectivity issues, but it might not be your fault. First, check the PlayStation Network status page to see whether the PSN is down or not. If PSN is down, all you have to do is be patient and wait for it to come back online. However, if things are working fine, it's likely that your internet connection is causing problems. Try turning off the router, wait at least five minutes and restart it.

"An error has occurred."
This error code is often seen with PSN server outages and prevents you from logging into the network. As with the previous error code, you should check the PSN status page to see if the service is down or not.
